Good Evening, West House!!!
I hope you enjoyed today’s Metal Monday Broadcast, brought to you by yours truly.
Well today we had SSR for the usual 20 min, followed by some announcements which included:
-
Community Service Papers due by the 16th (for the semester, I assume)
-
Counseling office computers are for counseling purposes ONLY
- Talent show signups by Wednesday
Also, pick up your shields if you still want them. If not, to the trash they go.
Ms Edwards then began to talk about peer reviews and went into a passionate speech about issues concerning Writing Workshop. The main one was people not doing peer reviews thus not recieving 25 easy points and also causing a writer to not recieve constructive feedback, something they desperately need. Basically, do your (easy) WW work for your peers, at least. For those that didn’t recieve a review, you can print yours and give it to Ms Edwards so she can pass it along to someone that will give you feedback.
From there, we sat with our 12 o clock buddy and learned a bit more about the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. In case you didn’t know, it’s myth. Ms Edwards gave a summary about the 500 page tale and don’t bother asking me if I kept up with her talking and wrote it all down… because I didn’t. Look here if you want: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_arthur
Then we reviewed the Sir Gawain and the Green Night questions and that was that.
